01What we collect
Account info you give us (name, email, role, language preference). Profile data you choose to add (avatar, bio, training goals, body metrics). Activity data generated by using the platform (workouts logged, meals logged, plans built, payments made). Technical data your browser sends automatically (IP address, device type, pages visited, errors).
02How we use it
To run the platform and keep your account secure. To match trainees with coaches. To process payments via Vodafone Cash or InstaPay. To send essential notifications (workout reminders, plan updates, payment receipts). To improve the product based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.
03Who we share with
Your coach sees your profile, plans, and progress logs — that's the whole point. Payment processors see only what's needed to complete a transaction. We never sell your data to third parties for marketing. We may share aggregated, anonymized stats publicly (e.g. "FitRip users logged 12,000 workouts this month").
04Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for essential functionality: keeping you logged in, remembering your language and theme preference, and basic analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser, but parts of the site won't work.
05How long we keep your data
Account data: as long as your account is active, plus 90 days after deletion in case of recovery. Payment records: as required by Egyptian tax law (typically 5 years). Anonymous analytics: indefinitely.
06Your rights
Export everything we have about you anytime from your account settings. Request deletion of your account — we honor this within 30 days. Correct any inaccurate data via your profile. Object to specific processing by emailing us.
07Security
Your password is hashed (bcrypt). Data in transit is HTTPS-encrypted. Database is hosted on Supabase with industry-standard access controls. We've never had a breach. If we ever do, you'll hear from us within 72 hours.
08Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
